Recovering from transatlantic flight
Greg and I returned last night from Kyiv, Ukraine. It was a very long day, but not as long as the day our friends from DCU experienced, flying on from JFK to San Francisco. Personally, I think they are insane to sign up for such a long travel day. The director was joking with his wife that she would enjoy the longest International Women's Day of any woman. But it is amazing the lengths you will go to in the name of love.
We enjoyed immensely hosting our mentor retreat at this University campus and celebrating our WWYC mentors, the amazing people who attended from all over Ukraine. This was the main reason for my trip to Ukraine, besides fulfilling one of our dreams of travelling together. I look forward to telling you more of this particular story, as well as all the other stories I have stored up inside, but it will have to wait until some of this jetlag has worn off. Until then...
